Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist — Outpatient PRN, Manteca CA

Job ID: N/A We’re seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist to provide PRN outpatient coverage in Manteca, CA. This is clinical-only work with typical daytime hours (approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and start date available 03/20/2026. Exact coverage dates will be scheduled by the facility. What you’ll be doing • Provide anesthesia care for adult patients undergoing outpatient procedures. • Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period—pre-op, intra-op, and post-op. • Document care accurately in the AdvancedMD EMR. • Work closely with clinic physicians, procedural teams, and on-site clinical/administrative staff. • Maintain patient safety and follow facility anesthesia standards. Facility & support • Outpatient clinic setting equipped with standard anesthesia equipment. • EMR: AdvancedMD. • Specialty backup: clinic procedural team available. • Support: clinical and administrative staff on site. • Reason for coverage: PRN locum coverage; emergency temporary privileges available if needed. Requirements • Active California medical license. • DEA registration as applicable. • Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology preferred. • Current anesthesia and life support certifications as required by the facility. • Prior outpatient anesthesia experience preferred. • Local or drive-in providers are preferred.
