About the Practice: A well-established and reputable private anesthesia practice in the Boston, Massachusetts area is seeking skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologists for both full-time and part-time positions. The practice is committed to providing high-quality anesthesia services across a broad range of B&B surgical specialties in a collaborative and supportive environment. Opportunity: There are immediate full-time and part-time Anesthesiologist job openings covering a diverse case mix, including obstetrics (OB), pediatrics, regional anesthesia, vascular surgery, and outpatient surgery. The position allows for managing approximately 30% of own cases. Graduating residents are welcome to apply. Responsibilities: Provide and manage anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical and obstetrical procedures. Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing current techniques and medications. Continuously monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical conditions. Manage emergence from anesthesia and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care. Manage approximately 30% of cases independently. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with practice policies and procedures. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board certification in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology 1 (AOBA) or board-eligible. Current unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure). Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population and case mix. Proficiency in a variety of anesthetic techniques, including general and regional anesthesia. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
