Locum Anesthesiologist | Flexible Call + Ongoing Coverage | Midwest Opportunity

A Midwest hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity. Coverage includes a mix of call and occasional OR shifts with flexible scheduling. Highlights: • Ongoing need with consistent coverage blocks • Weekday & weekend call • Optional OR shifts (7a–3p or 7a–5p) • Epic EMR • Travel & lodging provided Requirements: • Board Certified • Active state license or IMLC • Clean malpractice preferred Job Responsibilities: Provide general anesthesia services in a hospital setting Manage and respond to call coverage, including callbacks Perform pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care Deliver safe anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams Qualifications: Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required) Active state license or IMLC eligibility (required) Clean malpractice history (preferred) Availability for listed coverage dates (required) Prior locum or hospital-based experience preferred Working Hours: Mix of weekday and weekend coverage Night call and 24-hour call shifts required Occasional OR coverage: 7a–3p or 7a–5p Flexible scheduling with ongoing coverage needs Skills: Strong clinical skills in general anesthesia Ability to manage call independently and respond to callbacks Excellent patient care and communication skills Efficient in fast-paced hospital environments
