JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Greensboro, NC • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: June 15, 2026 – December 18, 2026 • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00a – 3:00p (5x8 schedule) COVERAGE DATES • June 15, 2026 – December 18, 2026 • Full-time coverage required (5 shifts per week) • Monday and Friday shifts are high priority PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: All Ages • Patient Volume/Census: 60+ cases per day • Case Mix: General, Orthopedic, GYN, ENT/Eyes, Vascular, Thoracic, Cardiac, Neuro, Trauma, NORA cases (IR, EP, Endo, MRI) FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Drager anesthesia machines; Philips monitoring systems • Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiology team • Support Staff Available: Medical direction model • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: 60 – 90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered per facility guidelines REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Administration of anesthesia across multiple surgical specialties • Monitoring patient vitals and anesthesia levels • Support in NORA procedures (IR, EP, Endoscopy, MRI) • Collaboration with surgical and anesthesiology teams • Use of advanced anesthesia equipment and monitoring systems JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active NC license (or compact eligible) • Board: Board Certified CRNA • Certifications: ACLS, PALS • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years (no new graduates) • Other Qualifications: Must be able to float between locations; flexibility required in scheduling DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia services across multiple surgical and procedural settings • Float between facilities as needed, with Moses Cone as primary location • Monitor and manage patients throughout perioperative process • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure patient safety and outcomes • Adhere to facility protocols, scheduling requirements, and documentation standards
