Physician - Anesthesia

Opportunity: Physician - Anesthesiology Job Details: • Must be able to perform regional block (nerve block) anesthesia for high volume orthopedic patients • Shift times vary according to daily assignment: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM • Schedule includes 5-10 hour shifts and 16 hour call shifts • Must be available to take call 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM during the week when needed • Coverage needed: 3-4 FTE per month • Patient population includes all ages • Anesthesiologists cover a 1:3 CRNA/room ratio • Special procedures include: Vascular, OB/GYN, General, GI, Pediatrics, Plastics, Orthopedics, Robotics, Urology • Required skills: MAC, Regional, Spinal, Ultrasound techniques • Electronic Medical Record system: Epic • Board Certification: BC or BE required • Pennsylvania medical license required • Certifications required: ACLS, PALS • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred Facility: This 135-bed hospital facility provides comprehensive surgical and procedural services with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The anesthesiology department supports a broad range of surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedic, pediatric, plastic surgery, robotics, and urology procedures. The facility maintains modern medical technology and uses Epic electronic medical records to ensure efficient patient care coordination.
