Anesthesiology Locum Tenens Physician

Position Overview One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity combining scheduled OR coverage and call responsibilities in a hospital setting. This assignment offers consistent volume, strong team support, and flexible scheduling structures, making it ideal for providers seeking steady anesthesiology work with call participation. Provider Pay Ranking: Top ~10–15% of anesthesiology locum roles (2026 market data) $380 / hr Assignment Highlights • Full-time coverage (40 hours per week) • Flexible schedule options: • 5x 8-hour shifts, or • 2x 8-hour shifts + 24-hour call • Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM • Call rotation required • Average ~10 patients per day • Support staff: • CRNAs • Anesthesia techs • Facility includes: • 4 ORs • Labor & Delivery • Cath Lab • EMR: Epic • Travel reimbursed per policy • Malpractice insurance covered • HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency • HPA Healthcare is an active member of NALTO Typical Work Expectations • OR anesthesia coverage during scheduled shifts • Collaboration with CRNAs in a care team model • Participation in call rotation • Coverage for L&D and Cath Lab cases • Coordination with surgical teams and perioperative staff Job Responsibilities • Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures • Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs • Manage perioperative patient care • Respond to call cases as assigned • Document all care in Epic Skills & Experience • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology • Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain • DEA required • ACLS required • Minimum 1 year experience • Proficient in regional blocks for orthopedic cases • Epic experience preferred Position Overview One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity combining scheduled OR coverage and call responsibilities in a hospital setting.
