Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Needed Near SMITHVILLE FLATS, NY Profession: • Physician Specialty: • Anesthesiologist Default Rate Type: • Hourly Emergency/Temp Privileges: • No Shift Type: • Days Shift(s) Description: • Flexible hours available: • 7a-5:30p, 5 days per week (preferably) • 7a-3p • 12-hour days and nights (must be able to do OB overnight) Weekend Requirements: • No Weekends On Call Requirements: • Once per week, 5:30p - 7a Description: • We are seeking multiple locum Anesthesiologists to provide coverage at our Hospital and Surgical Center starting July 1st for an ongoing, long-term assignment. • This position requires coverage in the hospital operating rooms, endoscopy unit, cardiac lab, and ambulatory surgery center. • Providers must take call one night per week. • Multiple FTEs needed (exact number TBD). • Average number of cases per day: Provider will have supervision of 3 rooms or will be sitting solo. • Preference for providers to supervise CRNAs, but adaptability is possible. • Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and patients aged 16+. • Facility includes 15 Main ORs and 4 ASC. • Trauma Level 2 facility. • Fellowship not required. • Provider will need to perform Thoracic, Vascular, and Orthopedic cases. • Proficiency in spinal anesthesia, epidurals, regional anesthesia, obstetrical anesthesia, and local infiltration preferred. • Locum, locum to perm, and permanent candidates accepted.
