General Anesthesiologist

We are seeking a Full-time General Anesthesiologist in Virginia Beach, VA, reporting to Dr. James Oleksa, with supervisory responsibilities. • Provide anesthesia at multiple surgical centers, including outpatient procedures and post-operative care. • Conduct patient evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and monitor during and after procedures. • Administer general and regional anesthesia, perform venous/arterial punctures, manage airway, and supervise certified nurse anesthetists and trainees. • Order tests, maintain records, and react to adverse reactions to ensure safe outcomes. • Require MD/DO, VA license, BC/BE in anesthesiology, 3+ years of high-acuity experience, and strong communication skills. The role involves frequent patient and staff interaction in a dynamic environment, emphasizing safety and teamwork.
