About the Practice An established, private anesthesia group providing comprehensive services across Morris and Sussex Counties, New Jersey , is seeking a full-time General Anesthesiologist. The group serves multiple facilities, handling a diverse mix of B&B cases in a supportive, high-quality clinical environment. Opportunity A full-time General Anesthesiologist job opening is immediately available, offering flexibility based on lifestyle preference: both call and no-call positions are open. • Case Mix: Diverse B&B cases including Obstetrics (OB), pediatrics (basic), regional anesthesia, and various outpatient surgery procedures . • Case Exclusions: No cardiac or trauma cases . • Experience: Residents are welcome to apply, benefiting from the supportive structure provided by the established group. Responsibilities • Provide and manage anesthesia for a broad range of surgical procedures, including OB, general surgery, minor pediatrics, and orthopedics. • Demonstrate proficiency in various anesthetic techniques, including regional blocks, general, and MAC. • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and manage post-anesthesia care. • Call Position: Participate in the shared primary call schedule, covering evenings and weekends as required. • No Call Position: Maintain a fixed, non-call schedule. • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, obstetricians, and other clinical staff. Qualifications • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. • Successful completion or current enrollment in an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program. • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology. • Current unrestricted medical license in New Jersey (or eligibility for licensure). • Ability to manage routine OB and pediatric cases. • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
