Locum Anesthesiologist - San Francisco - CA license - No Call - $325-$340/hr

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide locum services in San Francisco, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist looking for long-term weekday coverage in a high-acuity, hospital-based setting. Coverage begins late January 2026 and extends for 26+ weeks. 🏥 Job Details: Case Types: General surgical cases; occasional regional anesthesia. No cardiac, liver, or neuro cases. Special Procedures: Regional skills strongly preferred but not required. Setting: Hospital-based; providers will float between multiple high-acuity inpatient centers and ambulatory surgery sites. Schedule: Day shifts (typically 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM); providers can work 4 or 5 days/week; minimum 40 hours/week guaranteed. Support: CRNA support; anesthesiologists will predominantly work solo in the OR, occasionally supervising CRNAs. EMR System: Epic Patient Population: Adults and adolescents (13+) ✅ Requirements: Board Certification in Anesthesiology (will consider truly board-eligible if fellowship-trained) Active California medical license required DEA with Schedule 2/2n required BLS and ACLS (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of anesthesiology experience Recent experience in tertiary care centers (within last 2–3 years) COVID-19 vaccination + booster required (medical/religious exemptions considered) 📋 Credentialing: Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days 2 professional references required Interview process: 1–2 interviews expected Why Join Us?
