Specialty: Anesthesiologist Assistant Start Date: July (flexible, aiming for most CAAs to start together) Contract Length: 6 months minimum with the option to extend an additional 3 months or convert to a permanent role We are currently seeking 6 full-time Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join a well-established, high-performing anesthesia team at a Level II Trauma Center. This opportunity offers flexibility, strong team support, and exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties. Highlights: Guaranteed Full-Time Hours + Flexible Shifts: 40 hours/week across 8s, 10s, 12s, and 16s. Monday–Friday schedule with optional Saturday shifts (6:30a–3:30p). On-call duties are light—just 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month. Strong Clinical Variety + Team-Based Model: Work with 5 anesthesiologists and a robust CRNA team in 12 ORs and a Cath Lab, covering bread-and-butter ortho, general, neuro, endoscopy, and cardiology cases. Supervision ratio is 1:4. Supportive & Efficient Department: No expectations for blocks or post-op care—MDs handle that. Spinals are preferred but not required. Cerner EMR for general charting; anesthesia documentation is on paper. Work Details: Daily caseload: 2–10 depending on shift Patient population: Ages 16+ Facility: 306-bed hospital, Level II Trauma Requirements: National CAA Certification ACLS and BLS (AHA) Open to new grads Works under anesthesiologist supervision (no state license needed) Credentialing timeframe: Up to 30 days
