Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Advanced Practice Provider (CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant) to join its anesthesia care team. This role involves providing safe, high-quality, and patient-centered anesthesia services under the medical direction of anesthesiologists. The provider will deliver care to patients across all acuity levels in diverse clinical settings, including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Practice Info • Functions as an integral member of the anesthesia care team • Practices under the medical direction of anesthesiologists • Delivers care to patients across all acuity levels • Provides services in a variety of clinical settings, including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures Responsibilities • Perform clinically as part of an anesthesia care team • Operate, use, and interpret data from a wide variety of equipment to perform anesthesia care • Perform necessary perioperative or operating room care to support patient safety and well-being • Collaborate with various clinical staff and other disciplines • Provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served • Assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs • Maintain confidential records • Implement and adhere to facility policies and procedure • Facilitate the timely delivery of care and efficient function of the OR Shift & Schedule • Mix of 8, 10, 12 hour shifts (can be flexible) • Option for 12 hour nights (7pm - 7a) and 12 hour weekends (7pm - 7a) Requirements • For CRNAs: Graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (or its predecessor) • For AAs: Master's degree in Anesthesia from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program • Applicants at all experience levels are encouraged to apply • Open to new graduates who demonstrate a commitment to learning, professional growth, and delivering high-quality patient care within a collaborative team environment • For CRNAs: Current Georgia CRNA license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure) • For CRNAs: Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) • For Anesthesiologist Assistants: Current Georgia Anesthesiologist Assistant license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure) • For Anesthesiologist Assistants: Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA) • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques
