Anesthesiologist (Cardiac-Trained) - Partnership Track, W-2 or Day Coverage

The General Anesthesiologist position in Gastonia, NC, offers a full-time, exempt role with options for partnership or daytime schedule, working at regional hospitals in a rural Charlotte area. They will evaluate patients, develop anesthesia plans, and supervise nurse anesthetists, utilizing regional and general techniques across diverse outpatient surgeries, including cardiac cases like CABG, valves, TAVRs, and more. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, performing airway management, and post-op care, while collaborating with surgical teams and mentoring staff. Requirements • MD/DO from accredited school, board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology • Minimum 3+ years high-acuity experience, strong regional skills, NC license • Excellent communication, safety focus, team-oriented attitude Work involves frequent patient interaction, some stressful situations, and shared call duties (about 2-3 shifts/month).
