Anesthesiologist (Cardiac-Trained) - Partnership Track, W-2 or Day Coverage
The General Anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia services at regional hospitals in North Carolina, conducting patient evaluations, developing anesthesia plans, and supervising nurse anesthetists to ensure safe outcomes.
They will perform a variety of cases, including cardiac (CABG, valves, TAVRs, LVADs) and general surgeries (neuro, OB, ortho, ENT, GI), with approximately 1/7 of cases involving cardiac procedures.
Key responsibilities include administering anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, performing airway management, and post-operative care. They will supervise staff, mentor trainees, and collaborate with surgical teams.
Qualifications include MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, 3+ years experience, and strong regional skills.
Schedule offers partnership opportunities, with no nights or weekends and shared call responsibilities. The role emphasizes excellent communication, patient safety, and teamwork.
